ISSP UAE Local Chapter
The purpose of the UAE Chapter of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP) is to be the platform for open discussion and best practice exchange that will unite Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility professionals across the UAE. Our role is to enhance Sustainable business in the region by advancing the level of awareness and knowledge of businesses, individuals and the wider network of stakeholders.
The ISSP UAE Chapter is being formed from the CSR & Sustainability Meetup Dubai Group, which was founded in May 2014 to provide access to sustainability resources to everyone across the UAE, to increase awareness on Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Responsibility, and improve sustainability performance of businesses and organizations. This meetup group is the first in the region to offer an open learning and networking platform for sustainability professionals and advocates. In May 2016, it became formal part of the ISSP. The chair of the UAE local ISSP chapter is Aglaia Ntili.
Our Vision is to promote the concept of Sustainability and Sustainable development (triple Bottom line) across the UAE and enable access to knowledge for all.
We conduct open and members-only meetings. Open meetings are open to everyone to attend. Members-only meeting are closed meetings that support the needs and the continuous professional development of ISSP members.
