Congratulations to our Sustainability Consultant Dana Hamad for being selected to take part in the WiSER Pioneers Program 2022! We are all very excited at the Sustainability Knowledge Group to have one of our team members participating in this impactful initiative!
The WiSER Pioneers Program (Women in Sustainability, Environment and Renewable Energy) is an impact-focused platform led by Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) and dedicated to inspiring women of all ages to play an active role in addressing global sustainability challenges. Kicking off each year at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, in one of the world’s largest sustainability gatherings, the program explores topics such as gender equality and the crucial role that women play in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
Aglaia Ntili, Managing Director of Sustainability Knowledge Group mentioned: “We are very proud of Dana, our Sustainability Consultant colleague who has succeeded in participating in this initiative that promotes the role of young women in Energy and Sustainability fields. This is an outstanding learning and personal development opportunity”
In response to her achievement, Dana Hamad stated: “As a consultant specialized in sustainability, I am passionate about working towards achieving the Global 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and more specifically SDG 5 on Gender Equality. I am honored to be part of this prestigious program and get the chance to be surrounded by inspiring and talented women. I am looking forward to bringing in the program my professional expertise but also listen to and learn from my peers””
