Our guest speaker will present an insightful and practical meetup on utilizing Sustainability as a tool to achieve business excellence. Sustainability excellence is a continuous improvement process based on measurement, analysis and knowledge management. Sustainability excellence is achieved through sustained process with the strong leadership and clear strategic direction. Our speaker will discuss sustainability excellence models that when applied within an organization can help to focus thought and action in a more systematic and structured way, leading to increased performance. This is a holistic approach that focuses on all areas and dimensions of an organization, and in particular, on factors that drive performance. He will share examples of how such frameworks bridge sustainability and excellence, and help organisations measure the effectiveness of their sustainability strategy and create longstanding competitive advantage.
Speaker: Kareem AbuEid
Kareem is a seasoned sustainability professional. He is a partner with RSM Albazie, leading the Sustainability Services department serving multiple clients in the GCC. Before joining RSM, Kareem built his experience over 6 years with the KSA arm of Ernst & Young in Clean Energy & Sustainability Services. Before joining EY, Kareem had already over 12 years of professional experience in multiple sectors. Kareem has extensive experience in the healthcare sector with advanced consulting and training projects delivered for King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center. Sustainability projects include: Saudi Investment Bank, Royal Commission of Jubail & Yanbu, National Water Company, White Energy, Zain – KSA, Syriatel, Omantel, Saudi Energy Efficiency Center.
